Police Look for Suspect in Queens Sex Assaults

NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a number of attacks in Queens and Brooklyn last month.

Police say a man followed a woman into an Astoria, Queens building on Oct. 20 and choked her until she was unconscious. Police say the man then sexually assaulted the woman.

Authorities believe the man had robbed a 31-year-old woman in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and stalked another in Astoria, Queens before the alleged sex assault.

Police say the man is also responsible for another sex assault in Elmhurst, Queens that occurred on Oct. 1.

Police say the man is 25 to 30-years-old, 6-feet tall, and about 170 pounds. They say he was seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt in one of the attacks.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
