Bicyclist Struck, Killed on Long Island

COPIAGUE, N.Y. (AP)  -- A cyclist is dead after being struck by a car on Long Island.
   
Police say William Onishea was riding his bike on Montauk Highway in Copiague about 3 p.m. Thursday when he was struck by a car driven by a 22-year-old woman.
   
Police say Onishea was pronounced dead about 45 minutes later after being taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.

The female driver has not been charged.
   
Police say the accident is under investigation.
