Lionel Electric Trains and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority have unveiled the first-ever MTA-licensed New York City Subway Lionel Trains. R-27 Subway Car Set
Lionel has created an exact replica of the R-27 Subway Cars which were first put into use by the MTA in 1960 and continued to serve NYC riders into the early 1990s.
