Woman's Body Found on Bronx's Fordham Section Roof
NEW YORK (AP) -- The charred, dismembered remains of a woman have been found on the roof of a New York City apartment building.
Alice Stockton-Rossini reports.
Police responding to a 911 call of a missing person say they discovered the remains at a Bronx building Wednesday night.
The body is believed to be that of Mannuella Paulemont. It was found in the Fordham neighborhood after her family called police to report her missing.
The medical examiner's office has ruled the woman's death a homicide. It says she died from a slash wound to the neck.
Police say they've arrested the woman's boyfriend on charges of violating an order of protection, criminal contempt and burglary.
