NEW YORK (AP) -- A 56-year-old man was found apparently stabbed to death Monday inside his Dyker Heights apartment.
Al Jones reports
The man's body was discovered at 236 Bay 10th Street just after 6:30 a.m., authorities said.
Neighbors identify the victim as Donald Paccione, who they say had lived in the home for 35 years.
Neighbors also say Paccione was a postal worker and that his brother lived one floor below him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering multiple stab wounds. There were no signs of forced entry, authorities said.
According to published reports, the man's brother found him unresponsive inside the apartment and called police.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident and no arrests have been made.
