Cops:Bellmore Man Arrested for Soliciting Kids for Sex



NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- A North Bellmore man has been arrested for allegedly soliciting juveniles for sex in Westbury and North Bellmore.

Andrew Quattrone, 26, of North Bellmore was arrested at his house Saturday night without incident, police said. He was charged with three counts of attempted use of a child in a sex performance and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Quattrone was wanted for offering a 14-year-old girl money for sex and offering two other girls, aged 12 and 13, money to pose nude and make an adult movie, police said.

Quattrone will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Monday.

Authorities are asking anyone who believes they may have been a victim of Quattrone call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
