NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Long Island are on the lookout for a peeping tom who may be preying on college campuses.
Carol D'Auria reports
A 19-year-old woman told investigators that while she was using a bathroom in Adelphi University's Blodgett Hall May 12, a man tried to take photos of her with his cell phone camera from under a partition.
The woman immediately ran out of the bathroom to look for help and then saw the man get into a Ford cargo van and drive away, police said. He is described as an Asian male, 20-25 years old, wearing blue jeans, a light brown Polo shirt and sneakers.
A similar incident took place three days later at Iona College in Westchester, police said. Investigators believe the suspect may be the same man wanted in both incidents.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
