NEW YORK (1010 WINS/AP) -- Police say the woman who was hit by two cars and dragged by one of them in the Bronx, has died.
The woman was crossing Third Avenue near East 140th Street at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday when it happened.
Police say the first car was heading north when it ran into the woman and knocked her into southbound traffic, where a minivan hit her and dragged her.
It's not immediately clear how far she was dragged.
Police say the 20-year-old minivan driver fled the accident scene but later turned himself in.
Police haven't identified the victim or the driver of the first.
