NEW YORK (AP) -- An early morning water main break flooded some streets and lowered water pressure for some residents of the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx.
A spokeswoman for the city Department of Environmental Protection said the break at Broadway and West 231st Street happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
Mercedes Padilla said the water was shut off and a crew dispatched to fix the problem. She said water pressure in the area would be low for several hours.
An investigation is underway to find the cause of the break.
