Police Find Body Buried along Roadside in Farmingville



FARMINGVILLE, N.Y. (AP)  -- Police on Long Island have dug up a body buried along a roadside in Farmingville.

Suffolk County police, acting on a tip, say a K-9 unit found the remains buried in a wooded area on Express Drive North near Old Medford Avenue at about 2 p.m. Thursday.

The body was taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.

Police did not give the person's age, sex, or cause of death. No other information was released.
