| A public memorial for Michael Jackson will take place at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles today. Organizers made tickets available free of charge for 11,000 seats in Staples and 6,500 in the adjacent Nokia Theatre. More than 1.6 million people registered to win tickets, and only 8,750 names were chosen. |
