UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) -- Long Island's Nassau County is reporting a second death linked to swine flu.
County health officials on Tuesday said a minor with multiple underlying medical conditions died on July 1. The minor had been hospitalized since June 25.
On Monday, Suffolk County recorded a fifth death linked to swine flu. That victim, a Babylon woman between the ages of 55 and 65, also had multiple underlying medical problems. She died on July 4.
Suffolk has recorded 136 confirmed cases of swine flu. Nassau reports 98 confirmed cases.
