Police Search for Alleged Staten Island Burglars



NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- Police say two men have robbed at least three businesses in Staten Island over a month-long period.

The two men have broken into two restaurants and a nail salon through rear doors and a side door window, police say. The suspects have allegedly made away with money, a laptop and liquor.

Police say the alleged burglaries happened on May 22 around 8:15 p.m. at Lina's Nail Salon, on May 27 around 11 p.m. at Brisco Restaurant, and on June 15 at Lentos Restaurant on New Dorp Lane.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS(8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
