MySpace Reunites Abducted Daughter with Mother

SAN FRANCISCO (1010 WINS)  -- After months of bad publicity, MySpace is getting the credit for a mother and daughter reunion.

Stephanie Lovatos and her daughter, Celina, were reunited friday at San Francisco international airport, fifteen years after Celina was abducted by her father.

Stephanie Lovatos was excited about the reunion and suprised by how it had come about. "The picture looked like me at 17. I stood there and stared at it going, there is no way after 15 years of investigators and money and searches that it took 20 minutes on MySpace to find my daughter."

MySpace, which is an online social networking site, has made headlines before, though for compariatevely more negative reasons. It has been reported that the popular website is commonly used by online child predators who target teenagers.
