NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A rally against hate was held on Saturday in College Point, Queens after a gay man was brutally beaten last week.

Protestors marched down College Point Boulevard from 20th Avenue to 14th Avenue carrying signs and wearing T-shirts saying, "Stop the Hate."
On October 8, 49-year-old Jack Price was viciously beaten. The incident was caught on surveillance video.
He was taken to New York Hospital in Queens where he was treated for a shattered jaw, broken ribs and a collapsed lung.
Price was on his way home when the two suspects attacked him by repeatedly punching, kicking and stomping him.
The suspects were identified as 21-year old Daniel Rodriguez and 26-year-old Daniel Aleman according to police.
They have been charged with felony assault as a hate crime.
