Sketch: Cops Search for Greenpoint Sex Assault Suspect



NEW YORK (AP/1010 WINS)  -- Police were searching for a suspect Thursday wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a 25-year-old Greenpoint woman who was attacked as she entered her apartment building earlier this week.

The attack occurred near the intersection of Diamond Street and Nassau Avenue at about 4:30 a.m., police said.

The suspect pushed his way into a building vestibule where he sexually assaulted the woman, police said.

He described as being in his 20s, and about 5 foot 9 inches tall.

He was last seen wearing jeans and a dark T-shirt.
