NEW YORK (AP/ 1010 WINS) -- A former Chase financial adviser has admitted siphoning off more than $110,000 from a wealthy Manhattan client's account to pay her personal bills.
Robin Katz pleaded guilty Tuesday to grand larceny. The 26-year-old expects to be sentenced Dec. 8 to five years' probation, with an order to repay the money.
Authorities say Katz created an ATM card and dipped into the customer's account to pay rent on her Manhattan apartment and other expenses from June 2008 through June 2009, while she worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. The client ultimately noticed the missing money.
Katz was arrested in July with the card and withdrawal receipts in her wallet.
Defense lawyer Isabelle Kirchner says Katz is ``looking forward to putting this behind her.''
