Man Charged in Death of Long Island Business Exec

RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- A 23-year-old Huntington Station man has been arrested in connection with the 2008 murder of a Long Island business executive.

Police say Brandon Palladino surrendered to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office in Riverhead on Tuesday and was arraigned on murder charges in the death of Dianne Edwards.

The name of his lawyer was not immediately available.

Authorities say Edwards, a 59-year-old vice president for Advantage Title company in Huntington, died of neck compression after she was found unconscious and bleeding in her Melville home on Dec. 17.

Police did not give a motive for the killing.
