Police Seek Suspect in 12 Manhattan Burglaries



NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect wanted in connection with at least 12 burglaries in Manhattan.

 
 
The suspect has apparently broken into 12 stores in Gramercy Park, Murray Hill, and Hells Kitchen between May 19 and Oct. 23 and has gotten away with laptops and other electronic merchandise, police say.

The suspect was seen dressed in business suits and wearing a baseball cap.

In the last incident, which happened Oct. 23, he was seen wearing a Yankees hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS(8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
