Cops: Bronx Man Fined for Offering Sex with Wife on Craigslist
NORWALK, Conn. (AP/1010 WINS) -- A New York man who Connecticut police say offered strangers paid sex with his wife in an Internet ad has been fined $2,000.
Forty-nine-year-old Florian Penev, of the Bronx, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor prostitution conspiracy charge Tuesday in Norwalk Superior Court and paid the fine.
Norwalk police say they arrested Penev and his wife, 36-year-old Zdravka Zotkova, in June after officers responded to their Craigslist ad, which offered sex with Zotkova at a Norwalk hotel.
Police say Penev told officers during his arrest that he had recently lost his job as a graphic designer.
Zotkova was allowed into a court program that will result in prostitution charges against her being dismissed if she completes it.
