Police: Canarsie Rape Linked to Suspect Sought in 2 Other Attacks

NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- Police say a suspect sought in connection with at least two sexual assaults in Brooklyn is now wanted in a third attack which occurred in June.

The latest attack occurred on Oct. 20 in Canarsie when the armed suspect allegedly forced a 14-year-old girl into a deserted back yard and sexually assaulted her, police said.  The incident took place near the intersection of Avenue N and East 105th Street, police said.

The second attack took place inside a Flatbush building on May 21 near Church Avenue and East 37th Street, police said. The suspect allegedly followed a 20-year-old woman into the building's elevator where he brandished a knife and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The suspect is also wanted in connection with the attack of a 22-year-old woman on June 11. Police say the suspect followed the victim to her home on Clarendon Road in Canarsie and raped her at gunpoint before fleeing the scene.

Authorities describe the suspect as a male between the ages of 25 and 35, 5-foot-8 to 5-11 and weighing 220-250 pounds.
