Man Arrested for DWI Has 2 Kids in Car



WYANDACH, N.Y. (1010 WINS)  -- A Wyandach man is under arrest after Suffolk County spotted driving his 2001 Mercury Marquis and weaving and failing to stay in his lane.

Officers pulled over Donald Wilson, 43, at around 11:45 p.m. on Friday night.

Wilson had six passengers in the car, including two children ages 2 and 7.

According to police, he had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol.

While checking his drivers license, officers discovered a prior conviction for DWI and that the license had been suspended.

Wilson of 47 Jamaica Ave., is charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle.
