NEW JERSEY (1010 WINS)  -- Police have released a sketch of the man wanted in connection with a string of sexual assaults in East Orange that began last week, authorities said.

The alleged attacks all took place within a four-block radius of Central Avenue.

The latest incident occurred Tuesday night around 8:40 p.m. Police say a man went up to a 57-year-old woman and demanded money before threatening her. He then sexually assaulted her, police say.

Authorities believe the suspect is also responsible for the attempted sexual assault of a 23-year-old woman on Nov. 19 near Central Avenue and Oak Street and the sexual assault of a 30-year-old woman, which happened over an hour later and just blocks away from the first incident.

The suspect, is described as a thin male between the ages of 20 and 30 standing at 5 feet and 7 inches tall. Police say he was last seen wearing a dark knitted hat, dark colored jacket, light colored tee shirt, dark baggy denim jeans, and dark bulky boots.
