Tow Truck Driver Struck, Killed on NJ Turnpike



EDISON, N.J. (1010 WINS)  -- Authorities say a tow truck driver was struck and killed on the New Jersey Turnpike in Middlesex County.

It happened this morning on the southbound inner lanes near Interchange Ten.

Authorities say the driver was helping a disabled motorist when another vehicle veered into the right shoulder, striking and killing the man.

His name has not been released.

The driver that struck the tow truck operator sustained minor injuries.
