Powerball Winner in Indiana, Mega Millions at $250M

NEW YORK (1010 WINS)  -- Unless you bought a Powerball ticket in Richmond, Indiana, you're out of luck.

That's where a lucky lottery player hit all the winning numbers Saturday night.

They were 2-8-23-29-35-Powerball 19. The grand prize is worth about $314,300,000.

It's the fourth largest jackpot in Powerball history. There hadn't been a grand prize winner since late June.

Tickets that matched the first five numbers, but miss the Powerball, win $200,000 each, and there were 31 of those. They were sold in: Arizona (2), Connecticut (2), District of Columbia (3), Iowa, Indiana, Louisiana, Minnesota (4) Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, Nebraska (2), New Mexico (2), Pennsylvania (7), Rhode Island and Tennessee (2).

There were five Power Play Match 5 winners in Louisiana 2, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania 2.

Connecticut is among 29 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands that participate in the Powerball.

The next chance for New Yorkers and Garden Staters to get mega-rich is in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing with a jackpot worth $250,000,000.

The rollover follows Friday night's drawing in which no one player in any of the 12 states that play Mega Millions had all the right numbers for the $206 million prize.

There were a dozen second-prize tickets each worth $250,000.

Friday night's Mega Millions number was: 4, 21, 46, 51, and 53, with a Mega Ball number of 5.
