Couple Robbed at Gunpoint in Central Park

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two people have been mugged at gunpoint in a Central Park gazebo.

Police are searching for a suspect.

Police say the victims, a man and a woman from Brooklyn, were robbed shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday. They were near West 74th Street and the park's West Drive.

The robber was armed with a silver handgun and stole cash and a cell phone.

Neither victim was hurt.
