The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's 'Light The Night' Fundraising Walk
On Friday, October 3, we invite you, your family and friends, and colleagues to attend Light The Night at Rye Playland. Our walk is unlike all the others, as it is an evening walk in which all participants will receive an illuminated balloon to carry. Cancer survivors carry white balloons, cancer supporters carry red balloons, and those walking in memory of a loved one carry a gold balloon. It%u2019s amazing to see all the balloons glowing in the night, showing the impact of the research done thus far, yet still showing us how much further we need to go.
Registration begins at 5:00PM and the walk will start at 7:00PM. There will be food and entertainment to kick-off the evening, and a fireworks display at the end of the event.

Nam Knights 9th Annual Family Benefit Picnic
The Nam Knights of America Motorcycle Club, Hudson Valley Chapter will be rescheduling the family benefit picnic due to the forecasted storm.
The event has been rescheduled for October 12, 2008 11am-7pm at the German Masonic Fairgrounds, Tappan, NY.
