I went to the diner up in the Bronx the other day and I was eating my cheeseburger deluxe, I overheard a femal customer order, get this, a BLT, hold the bacon and the tomatos and put some turkey in it!! Ummm, NOT a BLT....lol

My wife and I were graced by our lovely upstairs neighbors' activities late one Sunday night. About midnight, she decided to start moving furniture. Not to mention her Swedish Clogs are a-clomping throughout the apartment (why don't you take your horseshoes after coming home at night??), there was the slamming of chairs, couches, whatever all above our heads whilst we lie in bed, the vibrating jumps of furniture legs 'sliding' across bare wood floors. For about 30 minutes this ensued. Then she would take 10 paces back, assess the arrangement, and then race back, only to restart rearranging again. Needless to say, I got the worst nights' sleep, and I wear earplugs at night!!

Most airlines require a degree but not all. What matters is the candidate possessing the appropriate FAA certificates and ratings, and the necessary flight experience. Generally, the airlines require at a minimum a commercial pilot certificate, multi engine rating, instrument rating and 300 flight hours in a multi engine aircraft. The average pilot applicant has earned a flight instructer certificate and has over 1,000 flight hours instructing. The degree can be in any field.

Only 3 stories are displayed when you open the link to Strange But True. There used to be many more daily. Will this be fixed?

I love the new set up but the s.b.t needs to have a way to read ones past. an archives if you will,really enjoy them and nana and billie,and well you get the idea

Even though I'm a technogeek, I'm actually not that crazy about the new look. I love the blue and the "clean" look, but it reminds me of a CNN wannabee site. Preferred the "down-home" old site. Plus, I only discovered where your column had been "moved" to today finally!!!
